May to December: the sweet spot
Cooler, drier and less humid — ideal for exploring, hiking the interior, and long lazy beach days on the north and west coasts. The lagoon is calm and clear.
Diving and snorkelling
Visibility peaks between November and April. The west coast around Flic en Flac offers some of the island's best reef dives.
